Overview
When we first engaged with our candidate, they were looking to make a move into a private client tax focused role within an accountancy firm or tax boutique in the Midlands.
Process
Following a series of in-depth discussions with our candidate to gain a clear understanding of what they were looking for both long-term and in their next move, we were in a strong position to advise on the best route forward and which firms to consider.
At this early stage, it was important to grasp exactly what our candidate wanted from the role in order to enhance their long-term career prospects, what they currently enjoy and the requirements in relation to personal circumstances.

We secured interviews with two firms in the Midlands which resulted in our candidate receiving two offers.
This allowed them to analyse and review the specifics of the two roles so that they could compare and contrast the nature of the work on day one, career progression opportunities within the respective businesses and how the opportunities could play a role in achieving the long-term career ambitions.
It encouraged them to consider the fit with each business in relation to the culture, vision, values and people.
Result
Our candidate accepted the offer of a Senior Tax Manager with a Tax Boutique in the Midlands as it was the ideal fit for them for the immediate and long-term future.
