Overview

The candidate approached Adlestrop for advice during their final year of their training contract in order assess their options and understand what the market looked like.

Process

We worked with the candidate to understand where they wanted to go with their career in order to begin looking at the market. 

We helped the candidate to put together a powerful CV that included recent project experience from the last 12-18 months to demonstrate their  deals and sector experience.

They helped me to tailor my CV for roles in practice and to emphasise my extra-curricular achievements. Adlestrop only sent my CV out to companies which I was interested in joining.

Aldestrop were timely in providing interview preparation advice (including background of interviewers) and in getting feedback from the interviews and assessments I attended."

Result

The candidate received a number offers, it was important to for the candidate to rank each offer based on their career ambitions and work-life balance in order to make the right decision. 

"With their guidance and contacts, I had opportunities to meet Directors and Partners to find the company that matched my sector interests and would provide long term career development. I am very excited for my new position and to join a new team which places collaboration at the heart of its client strategy.
