Placement of a Valuation Analyst, Top 10 Firm, Midlands

Overview:

At the time of Adlestrop approaching the candidate, they were not actively seeking to move roles. However, they were interested in finding out more about any current and future opportunities that were taking place in their market.

Process:

Adlestrop arranged an informal meeting with the candidate to discuss what opportunities were out there and it was from this first meeting that the candidate was keen to explore how they could progress their career with a new role.

“I was extremely impressed with Adlestrop’s knowledge of the sector. They knew the key players in my current firm and knew all about the main stakeholders, particularly in the Midlands market. I realised that Adlestrop would be able to open doors for me – and also provided sound career advice, way beyond what you would normally expect from a recruitment firm.”

Adlestrop then proceeded to set up meetings for the opportunities that the candidate was keen to explore. Throughout this process, Adlestrop remained in regular contact with the individual ensuring they were updated on every stage including interview preparation.

When receiving the offer Adlestrop took note of the exact package the candidate was looking for, and negotiated terms with the client to get the best deal. They also provided guidance in handing in their resignation.

“I had a very useful call with Adlestrop (and they didn’t mind calling way outside of office hours!),  which prepared me for handing in my resignation and was a huge help as I had not been in that position before. This resulted in me feeling extremely prepared for the meeting.”

Result:

The candidate is confident that the next step is right for their career ambitions and future progression. When asked if they would use Adlestrop’s services again, their response was:

“Without a doubt. Adlestrop are now on speed dial!”
