Placement of a Finance Manager, Top 4, West Midlands
Overview:
The candidate was awaiting their final exam results and assessing what their next move may be post qualification. Although they were happy with the firm they were with, it was important to assess all options as they approached qualification.
Process:
Adlestrop invested time in understanding exactly what the candidate wanted out of their career which was important at the time as the candidate was not looking to move immediately. At this stage, it was about providing advice and helping the candidate understand what the next move may look like.
"They made me aware of the number of opportunities out there and the numerous routes to take without making me feel overwhelmed. Working at a small firm I was unsure where I could move from there without doing something very similar to the current role. Their advice and knowledge gave me motivation and ambition for the future."
The investment of time and regular contact with the candidate allowed us to understand their character so that we would only suggest opportunities that matched their career aspirations but also was a good fit for them personally.
